
Colleen Mae Ballinger (born November 21 in 1986) is an American comedian actor, YouTuber, singer and writer. Her Internet Miranda Sings character is her most well-known. She has made videos of her character on YouTube and also performed her solo comedy act in theatres throughout the globe. In 2016, she also wrote and performed in Haters Back Off which is a Netflix original series about the character. Ballinger created the jolly eccentric, egotistical, incompetent character to mock the many YouTube videos of singers who sing poorly in an attempt to gain entry into the show industry. Together her YouTube channels have garnered more than 5 billion views. Miranda Sings has over 10 million subscribers, and she has over 6 million Instagram followers. Ballinger has won a Teen Choice Award in "Web Star: Humor" and the Streamy Award in Best Actress. 4 The Hollywood Reporter named her one of their Top 25 Digital Stars. She was ranked No. Forbes magazine's list of 2017 ranked her 5th among the top entertainment influencers. In July of 2015, following several years of romance, Ballinger and Joshua Evans got married in California. In two separate videos on YouTube, Evans and Ballinger announced that they were divorcing in September 2016.
