Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani is an emerging star with his untitled third album. On February 26, 1976 Ky-mani was born to the famous Robert Nesta Marley and Jamaican table tennis champion, Anita Belnavis, in Falmouth, Jamaica. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. For an East African man, his albums and travels can be described as an adventure. The musical journey started in 1999 when he released The Journey. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles with a passion for music and was searching for his unique musical style. Many More Roads, a traditional reggae album that was Grammy-nominated in 2001, proved that Ky-mani was a mature artist. Many More Roads, as along with The Journey are well-received around the world and established Ky-mani in her role of independently-minded "artist". Ky-Mani's style is a mix of reggae with roots that is infused along with hip hop, R&B and contemporary jazz.
