Her mother, Gillian Kenney, is a criminal attorney. Emma Kenney shares the same birthplace as Emmy Rossum, her Shameless co-star. Kenney is a native of Manhattan. She plays Debbie the shrewd daughter in Shameless which is a brand new Showtime TV show. While she was raised in New York, she lived the majority of her early years at home in Garden State. Kenney's Roseanne part, in the role of Darlene (Sara Gilbert) the daughter of Harris is another of her most famous roles.
