Lowe hosted the live broadcast for two hours during the FA Cup Quarter Final broadcast on ESPN UK in March 2012. The broadcast was telecast when the Bolton FC's Fabrice Muamba, a midfielder who plays for Bolton FC, suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch. The following night, she was in every important UK news channel. Lowe hosted the FA Cup Final live for six hours from Wembley Stadium in May 2012. She was the United Kingdom's first female journalist to host the event. Lowe's work with ESPN UK began in 2007 when she joined Setanta Sports as a presenter, reporter and host of their entertaining reportage of Football Conference. She was also the co-host of Football Matters the Setanta's Premier League program.
