Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actress. She was born in Winnipeg and was raised in Wellington Paquin made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at the age of 11, and was the 2nd youngest recipient of the award in Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actor and New Zealander who, when she was a child, won the Academy Award in 1993 for the top supporting actress. She was the fiery daughter of Holly Hunter's portrayer on the film The Piano. After responding to a call for auditions, she was able to audition when she was nine years old, with no acting experience before that, she won Flora McGrath's role. Flora is the daughter of the Scottish pianist, who was deaf. They relocated from Scotland to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century to arrange a marriage. Following her move to America, she was a teenager. United States, she became an adult. Paquin played the lead role in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 as well as a brief appearance as Jane Eyre when she was just a young child. Paquin was the character Frankie Addams as a child in the TV version of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. Paquin also had a role of the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 movie Amistad. She played teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000). She also portrayed the teen groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
